Dive into a world of dance, incredible creativity, and a salute to new beginnings.

In this specially-curated dance performance, we brought together five dance artists across different ages, nationalities and dance disciplines.

Our belief that creativity comes best from crossing cultures is the driving force behind our art programme Encounters Across Cultures. This extension of the programme leads us through a moving story that begins inside the Tokyu Department Store’s flagship store, an iconic space. The dance flowed through the building and on to the streets of Shibuya. As the show closed, they gathered on the Tokyu Department Store rooftop where they “salute” to the site‘s new future – where our House will stand.

東京でのハウス始動を記念する今回のパフォーマンスでは、ダンスアーティストらが対照的な動きや空間を通じて、名誉ある伝統、モダニティ、調和、新たな可能性の物語を表現しました。

7分ものは自分自身の制作史上でも初めてで、
ましてやこれは僕の初プロデューサーワークスでした！
誰か先輩が側にずっといて教えてくれるわけでもなく、
もちろん、とっても頼もしい仲間に恵まれていたし、
素敵なクライアントに無条件で信じていただけたからですが、
お話しをいただいてから最後まで一人で突っ走って来られて、
それがクライアントにとっても100点だと思っていただけて感謝されることは、
努力と意地が報われたと感じる、渾身の一作でした。
